Pre-K Program

Our Pre-K program is designed to prepare children for kindergarten through structured learning, hands-on exploration, and social-emotional growth. We help children build confidence, resilience, and important life skills.

ELF offers Monongalia County Collaborative Pre-K with or without wraparound daycare. We observe the Mon County public school calendar, instructional time, and curriculum. Sign language and Spanish are integrated into the curriculum.

 

We offer three enrollment options to fit your family’s needs:



1. Mon County Collaborative Pre-K Only

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM (September–May)

• Tuition: Covered by Mon County Schools during the academic year. Summer tuition (June–August) is privately paid at the full rate.

 

2. Mon County Pre-K with Wraparound Care

• Schedule: Full-day care, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM

• Tuition: Prorated September–May for wraparound care. Summer tuition (June–August) is privately paid at the full rate.

 

3. ELF Pre-K

• Schedule: Full-day care, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM

• Tuition: There is no Mon County subsidy for this option. Tuition is the full monthly rate, September through August. This is only an option beginning in October IF any spots remain in our Pre-K classroom. Otherwise, your child will be assigned to a preschool classroom.
